This is An Action Alert:Don’t Let the Senate Block Investment in Early Childhood Education
Change.org Action Alert
While it is my belief, that this type of education should start, and belongs in the home, between mother and child! I also know that with the changes in the moral fiber of today’s society, there are many more single mothers who have to work out side of the home. This make it imperative to have these early childhood education programs for disadvantaged children. That is why we must stand up for our children, and take ACTION NOW! Demand quality early education for all children!
Healthy minds, help to make healthy body’s, which make healthy children! Children should begin to be challenged mentally as well as physically, as soon as possible! Once a mind is stretched, it will never go back to its old state!
Don’t Let the Senate Block Investment in Early Childhood EducationDear Amir M., Across the country, more than 70 percent of three and four year olds have no to publicly funded early education programs. Half a million of these children come from low-income families. The House has already passed a bill that would provide billions in funding for early childhood education, raising the level of participation in these early learning programs among disadvantaged children. But right now, opponents are trying to block this crucial funding in the Senate. Some states have had to trim their budgets this year, deeply cutting or halting expansion of their pre-kindergarten programs. As a result, thousands of families are struggling to find a quality early education for their children. This proposed investment is a forward-thinking policy that is good for our children and our communities. Research indicates that every dollar spent on high-quality pre-kindergarten is worth $7 in taxpayer savings and economic productivity. Bolstering early education today will go a long way toward ensuring a sound economy for years to come. We can’t let Congress miss out on this opportunity. Send your senators a strong message to support this crucial early education funding > Thanks for your support, - The Change.org Team in partnership with Pre-K Now |
