I’m not arguing for …
I’m not arguing for Monsanto.

Chainedorlo September 14, 2009 at 12:20 pm

I say this because …
I say this because of the implications they give out with their LTV. If the workers are “exploited” because the capitalist doesn’t pay them for their total value. When you think of the implications of this, how would you apply it to assembly lines? How would the modern economy work with its complex capital structure with many stages? Nobody reaps the total value of their product, because all the(almost all at least) products go through various stages.

“The ambiguity of …
“The ambiguity of the phrase “self reliance” can make you sound like a Marxist.”

I can’t help but look at this statement and be totally bewildered why anyone would ever say that. Marxism is a collectivist philosophy a anti-self reliance philosophy in every sense. Who the associates the phrase “self reliance” with Marxism..

I would agree with …
I would agree with the chemtrails if these people went around wearing gas masks, but they breathe the same air. Whatever they use will be something they can insulate themselves from.

TJMonster51 September 14, 2009 at 12:20 pm

What good have they …
What good have they done? Everything I have read about this says that in the long run we are gonna have SUPER problems. Like gm corn, its pollen turns non gm corn into gm corn then, monsanto goes in a sues the farm for replanting seed when they never bought monsanto products to begin with. Look up on google video “the world according to monsanto”

The ambiguity of …
The ambiguity of the phrase “self reliance” can make you sound like a Marxist. I would drop using it; anyway what gives you the idead that I’m arguing for the FDA? I’m arguing that GMO’s have done some good.

batmanthe September 14, 2009 at 12:20 pm

What could make …
What could make things right is more people being self reliant and paying more attention. I don’t advocate government to take care of us. I’m a Rothbardian anarcho-capitalist. The free market would provide better alternatives to the FDA in the long run.

I used to get …
I used to get really bad hayfever right up until I was 19. Then I totally changed my diet from mainly junk/pre-made food to only organic foods and I never got hayfever for years. Then one summer I ate quite a lot of junk food and my hayfever was terrible. Needless to say I’m back eating only organic food again.

Nice ad hominem; …
Nice ad hominem; then what is the goal? What is it that could make things right?

fairflight1 September 14, 2009 at 12:20 pm

I believe they have …
I believe they have done a wicked thing to our food sources…

But I also believe, given the dates you are mentioning, that the Chem-Trails have alot to with these rises in diseases and allergies, etc.

They are literally poisoning our atmosphere and we all know..what goes up must come down!

These poisons are contaminating our lungs, our skin, our soil and water..etc!

BusinessForum1 September 14, 2009 at 12:20 pm

All this, and yet, …
All this, and yet, if millions died through “cornflake” poisoning, they woudln’t even blink an eye.
They calculate every person’s worth, by the TAX that we pay. THAT is why the prisons are full of unemployed people…. they are not profitable outside, but ARE profitable in prison.
If you are working, as a wage slave, you will not normally be sent to prison, unless its serious.
That amounts to imprisoning people who will not work ! And, if it AMOUNTS to that, it IS that ! 2+2=4, it AMOUNTS !

@ batmanthe – …
@ batmanthe – Listen here.. Stop calling people dumb ESPECIALLY when you spell you’re incorrectly.

I dont even care if you disagree but at least try to persuade people because they certainly arent going to listen to you calling them dumb. What do you expect them to do? Start crying? Start believing everything YOU say? Opinions are rarely swayed over the net.

Anyhow I agree mark GMO foods just that and be done with it. Im sure someone starving would eat anything GMO.

rayme4raw September 14, 2009 at 12:20 pm

I’d be very happy …
I’d be very happy if they would just label foods that have GMO and foods that don’t, let the consumer decide, they aren’t as stupid as people think.

batmanthe September 14, 2009 at 12:20 pm

Nobody said …
Nobody said anything about banning GMOs. Your an idiot.

BreakTheMatrix – Thanks, looking through things now. I have learned we can’t persuade anyone with reactionary rhetoric – it takes a cool and informed head.

To FrankPSF: Read the Jeffrey Smith article, the link is in the article. I’ll re-post it at bytestyle too.

Did you also know …
Did you also know that Monsanto is trying to make Heirloom seeds illegal? If I’m not mistaken, they already have started this process in Europe.

Where are “the …
Where are “the secret memos”???

FrankPSF September 14, 2009 at 12:20 pm

Shelly I am on your …
Shelly I am on your side of the issues. I have looked at the “sources” you cite. But honestly don’t see supporting evidence for most of the statements made in this video. It would be GREAT if all claims could be verified and backed up by tangible data. This way we could all be armed with arguments that would carry weight. Thanks.
